Joomla 2.5 has reached end of life - EOL.

Maianmedia, one of the essential components on mp3.jodp.net is no longer developed, and hence not available for the Joomla 3.x platform.

We have hence discontinued this demosite.

We today experienced an attempt to hack on one of our hosting servers.

The attack was ongoing for about half an hour and ended at 1335 when we blocked the offending IP address.

Our security software and routines detect these kind of attempts every day, but todays attempt was more of an annoyance to us as the massive traffic generated by the offending IP address took up a lot of the available resources on the server. The websites hosted on this server would therefore have appeared quite slow for the time this was ongoing.

Joomla recently released version 2.5.26 and 2.5.27 of their awardwinning platform.

We have a couple of customer sites left on Joomla 2.5.x, and within hours of this release we had upgraded all affected portals accordingly.
